Here at NutraMed we care about our world and what sort of place our children will grow up in, therefore with every thing we do in our business we have the environment and it's sustainability in the forefront our minds.    

Although the suggestion is easy to convey and can be thrown around with no real intent or passion; we here at NutraMed sincerely strive to practice sustainability using renewable resources wherever we can, from the office to the end product. Now don't get us wrong, we're not chaining ourselves to bull dozer's or oil rigs (not that we disagree with this) but we are extremely mindful of how we go about our everyday business and how that can have an effect, whether it be large or small, on the type of world we live in today and the type of world we leave for our following generations.

A clean and green beautiful New Zealand is the key for our country to grow and develop in a positive and purposeful way. 

All of the ingredients that we source and production techniques we employ to produce our glo® Anti-Ageing Dietary Supplements, are not just scrutinised for quality, but must also be renewable and sustainable.

Our Deer Velvet, for example, used in glo® is harvested from the antlers of Red Deer from free roaming farms in the South Island of New Zealand. The harvesting practice is carried out under the strictest regulations in the world ensuring premium quality and more importantly, no harm or pain to the deer at any stage of the harvest. The antlers fully re-grow within 8-10 months and it has been shown that the removal of the antlers is actually safer and healthier for the animal as it can not inflict pain or infection on itself or others. 

This is one of many examples encapsulating the train of thought we follow when developing our products and of course there is certainly NO TESTING ON ANIMALS.
